Implant Sciences, located in Wakefield, MA, is a small, but growing, public company which currently manufactures and sells systems and sensors for the homeland security market and related industries.  The Company is in the midst of dramatic transformation as it focuses it business on Security, Safety and Drugs (SS&D) detection products.  Learn more at www.implantsciences.com.  This company has a new and dynamic leadership team and is seeking a Controller who can provide timely SEC and management reporting and insightful financial analysis.

 

The Controller, who will report to the CFO, will be responsible for managing the Finance team to ensure timely month end closings and management reporting.  In addition, he or she will be preparing for and working with the Company’s independent auditors to comply with the SEC’s 10Q and 10K filing deadlines and Sarbanes-Oxley.  This is a hands-on position with new challenges daily. 

 

To be considered, you should:

 

·  Be a Controller in a public company.

·  Have responsibility for SEC and management reporting.

·  Have manufacturing/cost accounting experience

·  Have demonstrated your ability to elevate the performance of a finance function so that it works at a high level of efficiency and accomplishment.
