Chenega Security & Protection Services, LLCJob DescriptionJob Title: Director of Sea-Based ProgramsReports To: VP of International ProgramsFLSA Status Regular Full-Time ExemptWork Location: Subsidiary HeadquartersSummary:The Director of Sea-Based Programs (DSBP) is responsible to ensure CSPS meets its contractual obligations to the client. The DSBP will conceptualize and write a training program and conceptualized framework for sea-based tactical small boat operations. Additionally, the DSBP will manage all aspects of sea-based contracts and conduct briefings and direct coordination with the client. Provides technical support, guidance, leadership, and coaching to Chief of Guards, Project Managers and Leads and all operations personnel.? Communicates changes in regulations.? Works with Vice President in setting operational goals.? Works with the Human Resources Department regarding recruiting, training needs and employee relation’s issues.? Work with the Resources Protection Department regarding security and health and safety compliance.? Oversees and coordinates development of contract reports, financial and project scope.? Carries out all Corporate and Project policies and procedures.? Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.? May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.? Other duties may be assigned.Qualifications/Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Prior Navy, Coast Guard, or Marine experience a plus.Other SkillsMust have strong personnel management skills; Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; Superior knowledge, analytical, persuasion, and problem solving skills relative to health, safety, environmental, and business matters; Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks simultaneously; Capable of assimilating and critically evaluating information.Certificate, Licenses, Registrations:• Valid driver’s license• Must possess, or be able to obtain, a DoD security clearance.Competencies:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations and uses reasonWritten Communication - Writes clearly and effectively; edits work for spelling and grammar; able to read and interpret written information and recommend changes.
