FIRE SYSTEM INSTALLERS

 

We are a well-known, stable employer seeking an experienced Fire System Installers to work in Fire System Installations in the Greater Bay Area and Stockton, Ca.

 

We are a Silent Knight Engineered Systems Distributor (Farenhyt), but also install Fire-Lite Systems and retrofit all types except Simplex and Edwards.

Essential Job Functions:  

·  Fire alarm system installation, be available for services calls.

·  Positive interface with Owner, Subcontractors and AHJ in project coordination.

·  Read and interpret blueprint drawings.

·  Conduct necessary system tests and inspections.

·  Process necessary documentation including inspection paperwork, service tickets, project completion forms.

·  All other miscellaneous responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

 

Education:

·   High school diploma or equivalent required.

·   NICET level 1

 

Skills/Qualifications:

·  Two years fire alarm system installation.

·  Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 72

·  Knowledge of NFPA 101, NEC, UL standard 826

·  Intermediate knowledge of construction, electronic theory, and electrical wiring.

·  Experience bending conduit & pulling wire helpful.

·  Written and spoken English language, communication /interpersonal skills required.

·  Participation in an electronics apprentice program.

·  PC skills.
