EOE M/F/D/V HR Specialist We are currently searching for an HR Specialist with a background in high volume hiring, training, and recruiting.  If you are up to a challenging career with the world’s largest contract security company, then this is the place for you! RESPONSIBILITIES: Hiring ·  Review applications on HMS (on-line application system) for job matching and decide if interview is warranted.·  Interview candidates; make contingency job offers; administer oral drug screens and set up for “intro” class.·  Send out Adverse Action letters to applicants·  Enter new employees in SAFES·  Maintain personnel files; audit new hire files for correct paperwork·  Backup for receptionist Training·  Conduct “intro” classes (8 hr sessions),  ·  Ensures all pertinent new hire paperwork is properly filled out, ·  Maintains uniform inventory, distribute uniforms ·  Track officer certifications (and re-certs): driver certs, ACT 1,2,& 3, first aid/CPR/AED, Track voluntary courses that officers take and complete·  Order ACT pins·  Conducts first aid/CPR/AED certification classes·  Conducts supervisor training – including CSSP modules·  Participates on Safety Management Committee.  Prepares monthly safety reports and sends to Risk Management at WOC.  ·  Supervisor/Officer of the Month program·  Enter defaults on collection agency website (if uniforms or fees are not collected)·  Driver certifications behind the wheel and video testing·  Tracks and records security license renewals·  Excellence in Service coordinator·  Develop client/site profiles, needs analysis and site specific training  Recruiting·  Develop recruitment techniques/programs to increase applicant flow·  Develop and maintain organization contacts – such as: workforce development centers, colleges, trade schools, community centers, senior centers, VA centers, rehab centers, etc.·  Assist these organizations with our application process·  Attend job fairs at various locations throughout Wisconsin·  Place ads in newspapers and on internet websites – such as: MilwaukeeJobs.com, WisconsinJobs.com, JS on-line, CareerBuilder, Monster·  Develop advertising campaigns – new places to post openings.·  Promotes promotional opportunities, communicate referral program·  Send out quarterly EEO “outreach” letters to organizations – such as: WFC’s, colleges/trade schools, community centers, VA centers, minority centers, rehab centers, etc.·  Track advertising costs; track advertising effectiveness·  Assist in recruitment/retention programs·  Interview applicants during job fairs; make contingent offers, set up for intro class·  Help maintain On the Job Listing·  Enter “referrals” into SAFES so appropriate officer receives referral money; run reports every 2 weeks   This is just a quick snapshot of the many, varied duties this candidate will perform.  This is a very fast-paced service-oriented environment. NECESSARY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:   ·  Must have excellent communication and interviewing skills as you will have constant face-to-face contact with applicants and new hires. ·  Must have knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations (FMLA, EOE, ADA)·  Must be detail-oriented and have strong computer skills in Word and Excel.·  Must be multi-task oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.·  Courteous telephone manner·  Ability to be an effective team member and handle projects responsibly.·  Planning, organizing and project coordination skills.·  Must be able to “think outside the box” Please submit resume in Word format along with a cover letter explaining your experience and salary history. EOE/AA/M/F/V/D
