Integrated Access Control, CCTV and Security Systems Technician

Are you tired of the corporate mentallity? Then come join our team, where you can become more like family and less like a number.We have an Excellent opportunity for a Security Technician experienced in the Installation, Maintenance and/or Service of Integrated Security Systems to join our rapidly growing company. Our company, Vision Southeast, specializes in Design, Installation and Service of Integrated Security Management, Access Control, CCTV and Alarm Systems. Must have knowledge of a broad range of security products, including Access Control, CCTV and/or Alarm Systems. Knowledge of GE Security (Casi-Rusco, Kalatel, Caddx) and/or Ademco equipment a plus.

• Ability to start, install and complete Access Control, CCTV and Alarm System installations by reviewing work orders, gathering equipment, supplies, tools, coordinating schedules with customers, installing cable, installing equipment and programming equipment while adhering to the appropriate national and local codes as well as the standards of Vision Southeast.

• Able to test equipment for functionality, troubleshoot and correct deficiencies.

• Must keep and organize accurate records of installations, service and equipment.

• Must have knowledge of and be willing to observe safe practices and procedures during installation and service.

• Must be willing to continually learn through training (both formal and informal) including reading instruction manuals.

• Readily accepts new responsibilities and opportunities for advancement, while bringing value and leadership to Vision Southeast.

• Must have excellent customer relation skills.

• Must have strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.

• Must be a detail oriented, results driven individual.

• Candidate must be computer literate. Computer networking knowledge a plus.

• College Degree/Technical School Certificate in electronics, security or equivalent experience a plus.

• Preferably 2 – 5 years of experience.

• Candidates must have a clean driving, criminal, civil record and driver’s license.

• All applicants must pass a drug screen.
