Lead Installation Technician

Westec Intelligent Surveillance is seeking a Lead Installation Techncian immediately.  This position will report to the Regional Operations Manager and is responsible for daily installation, troubleshooting, and on-site service duties of video surveillance (CCTV), alarm, and computer networking equipment.  The candidate will have very strong communications skills and possess a customer centric focus.  This position is full time and requires 24/7 on-call duties.  Must be available for overnight travel (2-3 weeks per month) and extended project work is required.  Position will have the use of company installation vehicle for all company installations and service. 

Primary responsibilities include installation of CCTV, alarm and two-way audio at client locations.  Daily hands on field interaction with customers at a site level.  Daily communication with ROM's, PM's and Dispatch.  Customer training on CCTV and alarm products.

High School Diploma required and 3 years related experience and or training.  Must be a US citizen or have authorization to work in the US.  Applicable security licensing at state and local levels.  Background checks and drug screen required.
