Logistics Analyst

Alarm Computer Technology, a successful electronic security company operating throughout the Northeast, has a full-time opportunity available for a Logistics Analyst in our Southeastern Massachusetts office. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 


·  Supervise the receiving, processing and storing of all products and equipment


·  Coordinate and control the order cycle by processing purchase orders and interfacing with suppliers to ensure that appropriate inventory levels are maintained at all times.


·  Oversee stockrooms and all company service vehicles in order to maintain accurate inventory levels on all products.


·Track received goods and all equipment used during installations and technical service calls in order to ensure accurate inventory counts at all times.


·  Handle daily scheduling for all technical employees and properly allocate staff to accommodate workload.


·  Prioritize workload consistent with service level goals.


·  Review all paperwork completed by technicians and track the time required to complete all installations and service calls in order to maintain company efficiency standards.


·  Administer established company policies and guidelines, enforce company rules, and maintain discipline and morale for all technical employees.


Experience and Qualifications: 


·Associate Degree or equivalent business-related experience or training.


·  Some experience with inventory systems, productivity measurements, product handling and scheduling is preferable.


·Experience in electronic security systems or a similar technical field is a plus, but not required.


In addition, the ideal candidate should possess strong verbal and written communications skills, excellent follow through skills, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects.
