Manager of Marketing Development - Contracting

(MRINetwork) is the world's largest executive search and recruitment organization with a global network of more than 1,100 offices and 4,500 recruiting professionals.  Founded in 1966 and consisting of five offices across New England, The Boston Group is MRI’s oldest, largest, and most highly acclaimed member. Our Integrated Communications Systems Client – a division of a billion-dollar company -- has an excellent and exciting career opportunity in its business development area for a product marketing expert.  The opening is for a Manager of Market Development focused on the Building Contractor markets.  Preferably based out of  Leominster, MA (just north of Worcester), but given the Client has offices nationwide, *exceptionally on-target and qualified* candidates will be considered. As the target market for this role is the Contractor Market, a deep knowledge base on general and electrical regulatory codes and standards is important. This position plays a critical role by identifying opportunities, performing analyses and delivering information to support execution of the Client’s Growth Initiatives strategy. The position requires significant interaction with the business leadership including: Sales and Marketing Teams, Product Management, and Financial Managers. Candidate Responsibilities: Identify industry trends and market strategy initiatives through comprehensive horizontal and vertical market, competitive and customer analysis Support client decision-making regarding alternative incentive and promotional marketing strategies; to include  trade industry campaigns.  Support line managers in product and service positioning Develop target market process for customer and influencer marketing Responsible for revenue generation target goals for Contractor sector marketCandidate Qualifications: 6 or more years of experience in Product Marketing, Technical Sales, or Industrial or Commercial Management. Bachelors degree is a must, an MBA is preferred Knowledge of and experience with General and Electrical Contractor regulations, codes, and standards Ability to lead and work with teams; and excellent communication skills Travel up to 35%COMPENSATION Dependent on experience and qualifications, $85-95K + up to 20% target bonus.
