National Account Regional Manager Description:SUMMARY: National Account Regional Managers will be assigned geographic areas developing new commercial security business from multi-unit or multi-location businesses. The National Account Regional Manager (NARM) will prospect, develop relationships, and sell security systems and services to both targeted companies and from opportunities obtained through Brinks Marketing related activities. Finally, the NARM will identify and sell into additional sales opportunities from their own referral and prospecting activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.* Prospect for and identify key decision makers for security services at multi-unit or multi-location commercial businesses. Using a consultative selling approach, identify needs and sell Brinks Business Security solutions.* Follow -up on sales opportunities obtained from other sources such as, but not limited to, in-bound leads, branch generated leads, show contacts, and referral source contacts. * Provide detailed activity and performance measures for contacts, presentations, and sales made on a regular basis.* Proactively maintain ongoing relationships with both clients and targeted clients that were not ready to buy.* Coordinate with National Accounts Administrator, branch offices, dealers, legal and other departments to ensure effective implementation of client accounts.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum of 3 years experience selling to commercial clients, loss prevention officers, facility management personnel, or senior executives is required. Excellent customer communication and phone skills, problem resolution and follow-thru abilities are required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to effectively communicate in person using a consultative selling approach to owners and senior managers of multi-site businesses. Ability to prospect over the phone or in person, identify key decision makers, and set appointments.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Proficiency with computer hardware programs and software packages especially, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
