Physical Security Manager

Physical Security Manager General Responsibilities:

MUST BE LOCATED IN THE AUSTIN AREA TO BE CONDIDERED.

Act as team and technical leader for the deployment of Access Control, Alarm, and Video Surveillance Services and equipment (security services) . Oversee the delivery of security services ranging from presales to design, integration, and operation of security systems, including devices, cabling, and door hardware. . Act as project manager for security system deployments. . Hire, manage, and train additional resources as needed to complete security solution deployment . Maintain quality and standards compliance for security solution services . Track security solution deployment milestones and schedules, report to upper and operational management. . Interface with clients and customers for planning and coordination of security system deployments . Assist sales engineers in consulting clients and customers to achieve the best results from security services offerings. . Maintain a knowledge base of security technical information. Capabilities: . Extensive knowledge of the Physical Security market and best practices. . Extensive knowledge of both analog and IP based systems, as well as server-based enterprise level and globally managed systems. . Conduct security site surveys for system deployments to achieve proper security policies, system integration, and manageability. . Perform or oversee system integration surveys per equipment manufacturer's guidelines. . Write detailed reports based on information gained from site surveys . Design security solutions including writing specification to match the customer's requirements. . Integrate enterprise and centrally located security solutions by loading configurations and security policies. . Physically install, turn up, and adjust security systems including cameras, lenses, power supplies, cabling, sensors, devices, controllers, servers, door hardware (strikes, mag locks, etc.) . Test systems and coordinate with monitoring company or internal security department. . Conduct post-install surveys and troubleshoot any issues with system functionality and performance. . Expert with security system fundamentals and configurations

 

Requirements: . Extensive industry experience with installation through management . Ten or more years experience with access control and video surveillance systems . Five or more years experience with IP based camera and access control systems . Five or more years in a supervisory position . Ability to travel up to 75% of the time . Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed . Possess various system manufacturer's certifications MUST possess current security manager's license for State of Texas
