Job Description
TKCC has an opening for a Security Specialist in Arlington, Virginia. The candidate will be responsible for activities associated with performing physical security tasks, writing and reviewing physical security plans designed to protect personnel, property, and information. The candidate will provide physical security knowledge and guidance to senior government and contractor personnel.

The candidate will be responsible for performing the following duties and may perform other related duties as designated by the Program Manager or senior government personnel.

• Develop physical security plans and policies.
• Review, update, and brief emergency management plans and procedures.
• Assist in sustaining a physical security program that complies with the requirement of DoD Regulation 5200.8, Physical Security Program.
• Conduct physical security surveys, assessments, and prepare associated reports.
• Determine physical security construction requirements.
• Recommend access control enhancements.
• Evaluate OPSEC, TEMPEST, and TSCM requirements.
• Identify configuration control items with the physical security boundaries.
• Provide written input for the Weekly Activities Report and all other appropriate agency reports, briefings, and special studies.
• Interpret and implement SCI and SAP security policy and guidance, and provide oversight and assistance to security and client staff across the organization

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in providing physical security services to U.S. Government clients.
• Knowledge of DCID 6/9, Physical Security Standards for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities
• DOD 5205.21, M-1 SCI Administrative Security Manual
• Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
• Education: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) desired, experience
• Knowledge of JAPS and/or eQIP is required.
• Must be detail oriented with a positive attitude and exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

MUST HAVE A CURRENT TOP SECRET CLEARANCE, ELIGIBLE FOR SCI AND WILLING TO TAKE A POLYGRAPH EXAMINATION.
