Secuirty Manager

Job Duties:Provide support and security of flying squadrons, maintenance and repair facilities during hours specified in the contract.  The Government will certify the ASM to open, close, and secure controlled areas where duties are to be performed.  Assist military using facilities; know and comply with all USAF and local security procedures and practices including controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC

Maintain presentation equipment in briefing rooms

Provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers

Assemble security material covered under this contract for deployments (squadron personnel)

Be able to manage vault alarm system (adding/removing vault openers and closers) and change combinations and generate SF 700s

Perform and document vault alarm tests

Coordinate security issues through 3 WG APO, which includes camera use within facilities, equipment movement

Investigate and analyze security incidents, define root causes, provide recommended solutions, train or retrain personnel as needed to prevent recurrence of event upon Program Security Managers request

Process all required paperwork on personnel requiring access through the 3 WG APO (i.e. SF 86/EPSQ, AF form 2583, etc).

 

 

Required Skills:  4 years of professional experience.  A security background with general knowledge/compliance and implementation of  DoD 5200.1-R, DoD Information Security Program, DoD 5200.2-R, DoD Personnel Security Program, NISPOM, NISPOM SUPP, AFI 31-401, AFI 31-501, AFI 31-101, JAFAN 6/3, JFAN 6/4,  DCID 6/3, DCID 6/4, JAFAN 6/9, and DCID 6/9.  and all local Program Operating Instructions and Security Operating Procedures. Good working knowledge of computers and network design.  Desired Skills:  F-22A security experience.  Bachelors Degree from an accredited college with a proficient knowledge of the NISPOM, NISPOM SUPP, JAFAN 6/3, DCID 6/3, JAFAN 6/9 and DCID 6/9.

Active Top Secret clearance  TS/SSBI security clearance, and be DCID 6/4 eligible

Work location: ELMENDORF AFB, AK, Full-time 40 hours per week required Monday through Friday 0730-1630
