Indianapolis, IN   Security Alarm Systems Technician        Position Title: Security Systems Specialist Class:   Non-Exempt  Department:     Status:   Full-time Salary Range: Hourly     Reports To:    Primary Functions:  Ø Install, inspect and service access control, CCTV, and security systems to specifications Ø Sell and promote Koorsen products and services Ø Respond to trouble calls Ø Completion and process required paperwork in a timely fashion Ø Maintain established client accounts and develop new business Ø Represent Koorsen in a professional positive manner Ø Ensure high level of customer service, satisfaction and communication Ø Ensure continued communication and cooperation with Koorsen staff Ø Follow safety rules and good driving habits Ø Follow Koorsen policies and procedures Ø Other duties as assigned by supervisor   Education and Experience Requirements: Ø Minimum High School Diploma or GED with 7 years working experience OR Ø High School Diploma or GED, plus a Trade school or certification with 5 years experience   Skills Requirements: Ø Customer oriented interpersonal skills Ø Technical and/or Mechanical knowledge and abilities Ø Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and schematics Ø Must be computer literate Ø Must be willing to attend training sessions Ø Must be able to obtain required Certification(s)   Essential Functions and General Requirements: Ø Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend acceptable business English. Ø Must have regular and punctual attendance. Ø Must have basic mathematical skills. Ø Must be able to use telecommunication equipment Ø Must be able to handle multiple tasks Ø Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and safe driving record. Ø Must be able to access all areas of route vehicle, including loading & unloading materials Ø Must be able to access and tolerate small crawl spaces. Ø INTENSE LIFTING REQUIREMENTS: C Must be able to lift a minimum of 50-lbs.
