Security - Lead Officer

JOB TITLE: Lead Officer Job Group #: 9-A / 09-0032

 

DEPARTMENT: Operations Supervisor

 

REPORTS TO:  Operations Manager

 

JOB PURPOSE: To provide first line leadership of all contract security personnel assigned to a job site.  Interacts with client personnel and Branch Office Operations Department

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Oversee and direct activities of all security personnel assigned to the facility.

 Implement policies and procedures received from the client.

 Oversee the placement and training of all security officers provided to the site by the Operations Department.

 Maintain and coordinate scheduling of all security officers on the facility.

 Post actual hours worked, and audit, payroll/billing work sheets.

 Take appropriate disciplinary actions on security officers as needed.  Coordinate suspensions with the operational Branch / District Manager, when a replacement is to be provided by the Field Office.

 Perform all other functions as assigned by the operational Branch / District Manager and client.

 Reports to the operational Branch / District Manager and interacts with the Operations and Personnel staff on activities of first line supervision for all facility security personnel.
