Requirements

Security Officers


Requirement for Security Officers includes :

· MUST HAVE The following for employment eligibility:

· Must be US citizen or legal resident

· Be of good moral character

· High school Diploma or G. E. D.

· Able to furnish Valid Photo Identification

· Copy of DD 214 (If you have been in the Military)

· No felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for crimes of moral turpitude

· Ability to pass a drug screening

· Be Able to walk or stand for long periods of time Triton Security Inc. requires applicants to be eligible for licensing as D.C. Special Police Officers, Maryland Security Guard and Virginia Security Guard.  The District of Columbia Municipal Regulations, Title 6A, Chapter 11, Section 11000.7 which reads… “No person shall be appointed as a special police officer under the Act of March 3, 1999 unless he or she meets the above first 4 requirements.”

· All employees in Protective Services are required to secure and maintain a security license from the state(s) in which they work. · Eligible employees receive full reimbursement for licensure fees after 6 months of employment.
