Small Business Sales Manager Description:SUMMARY: Manage and direct a sales force to achieve sales and revenue goals. Set short and long-term sales goals in accordance with plan numbers for market growth and implement actions to achieve these goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following,* Manage sales staff and review sales performance to ensure minimum standards are met and maintained* Develop and control the sales program under the guidance of management* Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales quotas and goals* Develop lead generation methods and techniques to promote growth beyond national telemarketing leads* Resolve consumer inquiries and complaints regarding installations, product quality, sales price, contract, and other relevant inquiries* Conduct field training by accompanying and evaluating sales personnel on sales demonstration* Perform special projects and other duties as assignedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor or Associate's degree preferred. A minimum of two years related Sales experience. Prior Business to Business Sales and management experience preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to clearly and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups within and outside the Company.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid driver's license.
