Zale Monitoring Center Operator (Loss Prevention)

Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of the effective and efficient operation and monitoring of the CYBER ALERT SYSTEM in the Command Center. The CYBER ALERT SYSTEM is a new state-of-the-art digital cctv system which allows the ZMC to remotely monitor Zale Corporation stores 24/7. The ZMC Operator’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:   Provide a high level of safety and protection for all store personnel and customers through thorough and continuous observation of store activity. Will monitor 125+ stores that are currently on the system. Monitor the CYBER ALARM (Burglar) system after business hours, addressing any and all alarms.  Must be able to immediately respond to any after-hour’s activity through sending appropriate Voice Downs, calling the local Police Department and providing/sending any video as requested. Respond to any suspicion button activation in a timely manner. Communicating any crimes immediately to the local Police Department and providing live details to the dispatcher. Conduct monthly audits of the stores ensuring all devices are working properly.  Work with the Director of Facilities Security/Loss Prevention ensuring success of this new program. Hourly position. Must be willing to work second shift including weekends. Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience. Must have experience with cctv and have the ability to continuous observe activity. Possess excellent oral and written communications skills. Must be a self-starter and detail oriented.   Computer Skills: Microsoft Word or Excel required.   Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
