  Collections Representative Needed

 

National leading manufacturer of sporting goods equipment is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic collections professional with a positive attitude.  The position currently available is Collection Representative in our Corporate Office. The ideal candidate must have between two and three years of recent experience in a commercial collection environment with a proven record in maintaining a relationship and collecting business-to-business accounts receivable.  All required qualifications are as follows:

 

- Must be organized and self-motivated.

- Ability to collect amounts due while also increasing customer satisfaction and retention.

- Proven track record of successful portfolio management; meaning he/she should feel ownership of their accounts and ensure each account is completely clean of all open, outstanding items. 

- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously review, interpret, reconcile, and follow up on customer account issues.

- Dedication to simplify customer support by building the skills needed to handle most customer issues without transfers.

- Experience working in a fast paced environment that requires high productivity with performance measures including daily call volume, tickler system, call notes, portfolio dollars collected, portfolio aging, follow up and follow through to resolution, etc.)

- Beginner level proficiency in Excel is required and SAP experience is preferred.
