About You

You maintain a variety of logistic functions including warehouse and distribution operations and logistic systems.  You coordinate with suppliers, partners as well as internal and external customers for services.  You also coordinate third party relationships with logistic suppliers and other members of the supply chain as well as manage, track and report the flow of inventory through the processes of purchasing, distribution and transportation. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, and transactions by keying data into the Wham-O mainframe.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Project Management:Order resources from suppliers (corrugated & labels) Coordinate resource arrival with distribution facility and suppliers. Instruction of Third Party Distribution Facility regarding the arrival, due dates and correct configuration of projects per R&D. Inventory Management of materials used (production orders, cycle counts and inventory moves).

 

Inventory Management:Physical Inventory one time yearly for multiple facilities. Responsible for creation of tags, freezing inventory and running inventory reports.Investigation and Reconciliation of discrepancies.Reconcile Wham-O’s book inventory to third party vendor inventory.  Adjust inventories as directed.Resolve inventory discrepancies by researching transaction history, requesting cycle counts and reviewing manual ship documents.

Traffic:Enter ship order confirmation into the system. Provide transportation rates to facility and internally. Support routing needs at facility level.

 

QualificationsIntermediate level proficiency in Excel, Access and Word. Strong organization and analytical skills. Detail towards data entry . Exposure/Experience in a Distribution/Warehouse environment and/or accounting experience helpful. Knowledge of Retailer Routing/Compliance guides. College degree preferable or equal career experience.
