Member Service Representative

The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), a global leader in certification, continuation education, solutions and tools for health, fitness, sports-performance and sports medicine professionals has an immediate opening for a Member Service Representative in our Calabasas, CA office.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for membership issues ranging from technical support of web applications to account maintenance.

·        Answer and support incoming calls and emails from NASM members

 

·        Document and assist in the resolution of customer support inquiries

 

·        Help members with account creation

 

·        Learn NASM policies and advise members when necessary

 

·        Develop knowledge of NASM courses

 

·        Enroll members in courses

 

·        Handle returns and cancellations

 

·        Consult on various technical support issues (PC / Mac / Internet)

 

·        Assist other departments with special projects

 

 

Qualifications and Competencies:

·        Previous experience in a support call center a plus

 

·        Customer service experience

 

·        Great communication skills

 

·        Microsoft CRM experience a plus

 

·        PC and limited MAC trouble shooting experience

 

·        High School Equivalency

 

·        BA Preferred

 

·        Personal Training industry experience a plus
