JOB SUMMARY:
Ensure the proper pace of play on the golf course and help create an enjoyable golf experience at Grizzly Ranch. This position is seasonal from approximately April 1 through October 31, 2008.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Enforce “Keep Pace” policy:
• Keep up with the group ahead
• Lead group must turn in 2 hours
• Make sure all groups are keeping pace to ensure enjoyable golf experience.
2. Enforce golf course rules and regulations:
• No coolers allowed
• No fivesomes
• Enforce appropriate golf attire rules
• No more than two riders and two golf bags per golf cart
• All players must have their own set of clubs
3. Diplomacy and discretion must be used with firmness to perform effectively in this position.
4. Periodically check with the golf shop and with the starter for any important information happening on the course.
5. Carry a rules and decisions book
6. Provide documentation of pace of play, etc. to golf shop daily
7. Golf carts should not be driven closer than 35 feet from all greens and kept on paths around the tees and greens. Pull carts should not be in the areas between the bunkers and green.
8. Always keep the golf course neat and free of any trash.
9. Maintain all ropes and stakes placed on the golf course to direct traffic or for course playability.
10. Daily check up of the bathrooms on the course and clean if necessary.
11. Each day make sure all carts are functioning properly and check their overall appearance.
12. At the end of the day make sure all of the carts are washed and properly placed in the cart barn
13. Know proper procedures in the case of an emergency.
14. Comply with the Grizzly Ranch grooming and uniform policy.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to work either indoors, or out of doors in extreme weather conditions. Physical requirements include: the ability and endurance to sit, stand, or walk on uneven ground for extended periods of time; the ability to lift and carry 20 lbs. On a frequent basis; the ability to bend, twist, crouch, and kneel on a frequent basis; repetitive use of arms, wrists and hands in a grasping or squeezing motion; and reach above shoulder level on an occasional basis.

• Extensive knowledge and interest in the game of golf
• Ability to function in high customer impact situations
• Ability to work with members and guests
• Knowledge and understanding of USGA rules of golf
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and days
