Retail Marketing Coordinator

The Retail Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating retail marketing efforts at Regional key accounts in the US, providing marketing services that ensure TaylorMade & adidas Golf brand image meets guidelines and objectives. Coordinate the development and execution of branded communication materials, sales promotions/contests and special events/appearances for account-specific initiatives
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
§ Serve as primary marketing liaison between TMaG and sales team/retail accounts for TaylorMade and adidas Golf, facilitating opportunity recognition, solution implementation, communication processes and problem solving as needed.
§ Coordinate the development of all account-specific communication materials and/or promotions internally and externally from briefing through to implementation, working with the cross-functional team day-to-day in the execution of plan components – including Sales, Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Visual Marketing (in-store), PR/Media, Event Marketing, eMarketing.
o Partner with Product Marketing (equipment, footwear, apparel) and Sales to maintain up-to-date knowledge of product portfolio, account assortment plans, distribution strategies and sell-thru
o Partner with Brand Marketing to maintain consistent messaging and identity in all account-specific marketing materials
o Partner with Visual Marketing to execute initiatives at retail by providing logistical support, e.g. coordinating distribution lists, account approvals and implementation.
o Partner with Sports Marketing to develop & execute annual marketing plans by account to maximize TMaG athlete promotional assets at retail. This includes proactively making use of brand assets under contract, utilizing advertising media under contract, and coordinating these promotions in retail accounts.
§ Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues or problems that affect marketing projects.
§ Coordinate internal and account feedback and approvals for assigned projects.
§ Manage and reconcile project budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field required.
§ 2-3 years of brand or retail marketing experience within a consumer goods company or equivalent account management experience at an advertising/marketing agencySolid understanding of account relationships and business transactionsBroad understanding of brand management and how all facets of the marketing mix can affect consumer motivation, product needs and the retail experienceAbility to identify in-market opportunities and develop an execution planStrong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.Highly developed attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to work across teams and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks. Interest in sports required, with strong knowledge of golf hard goods equipment, footwear and/or apparel products preferredExcellent computer skills (Excel, Power Point, Word)Travel to accounts is required: estimated at 25%
