Company Description Prominent international bank Job Description Job responsibilities for the Account Manager include: Being Responsible for all the relevant functions of the Accounting Department and its policies Verifying and approve all regulatory reports that are prepared by the bank and that are sent to the Federal Reserve Bank, the New York State Banking Department. Serving as a secondary person to verify the TEST KEY procedures Verify and approve all financial reports issued by the Accounting Department. Reviewing and approve on a daily basis the percentage of Eligible Assets to Liabilities Requiring Cover and the Pledged Assets Ratio calculations Assisting the General Manager on bank regulatory matters as they pertain to the bank's accounting function Acting as liaison with the external auditors, which includes the Financial Statements Audit engagements and Tax audit engagements Acting as liaison with the State and Federal Regulatory examiners Acting as liaison with the Head Office Internal Auditors Acting as liaison with the Brazilian Authorities (Central Bank) Auditors Establishing, coordinating and administering an adequate plan for the control of the branch's accounting operations Ensuring that all accounting policies and procedures of the Branch are followed accordingly Being responsible for the preparation of the annual budget in coordination with senior management. Responding to customers' and external auditors' requests to confirm loan and deposit account balances Performing a daily variance analysis of the bank's Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts and distribute the results to senior management. Being responsible for planning, documenting and implementing the appropriate system modifications, internal controls and accounting policies for any new financial products that are dealt by the bank Required Skills 5+ years Foreign Banks/branches FFIEC 002 reporting FED and NYSBD banking regulations Supervision!
