Company Description Leading investment advisor Job Description As an Accountant IV – Real Estate, you will: Evaluate complex organizational structures and determine the appropriate accounting methodologies Participate in the decision making process related to the accounting for real estate acquisitions and divestitures Perform accounting functions (journal entries, foreign currency accounting, account reconciliations, variance analysis) for real estate entities Perform technical accounting research and assist with the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures Take a lead role in the establishment of accounting processes and procedures Respond to inquiries from management and auditors regarding accounting policies, procedures and problems Required Skills 4-7 years of public/private/combination experience Familiarity with real estate or partnership accounting Knowledge of financial statement preparation under GAAP, general ledgers, month-end close, reconciliations, real estate investment trust (REIT), and variance analysis Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Oracle Company: Execu/Search Group Job Title: Accountant IV - Real Estate Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Location: US-NY-New York City Salary/Wage: 56,000.00 - 90,000.00 USD /year Reference Id: J49104
