Analyst / Compensation Accountant

Company Description Global investment banking firm Job Description Responsibilities for the Analyst / Compensation Accountant include: Accounting for and reporting all global restricted stock units and options granted to employees Accounting for and reporting firm-wide common stock outstanding, average basic and fully diluted shares outstanding Preparing global equity compensation profit and loss estimates, analysis and projections Researching variances Responding to inquiries from corporate financial reporting, corporate treasury, corporate tax, global senior accounting officers and divisional finance teams Processing restricted stock units deliveries and option exercises Processing wage and tax reporting for daily option exercises Performing quarterly equity profit and loss analysis Making balance sheet reconciliations Participating in the design, testing and implementation of automated system processes in response to new FASB pronouncements Performing various ad hoc equity compensation analysis for senior management Required Skills 2-4 years of accounting experience Knowledge of GAAP, general ledgers, month-end close, and trend and variance analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Excel Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Desired Skills CPA or MBA Company: Execu/Search Group Job Title: Analyst / Compensation Accountant Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Location: US-NY-New York City Salary/Wage: 50,000.00 - 75,000.00 USD /year Reference Id: J46659
