Analyst - Private Equity

90941 Prestigious private equity firm is seeking an exceptional candidate for an Analyst position. The Analyst will be involved in multiple aspects of deal execution including sourcing, evaluating, structuring and financing. Additional responsibilities include: Conduct research on various market segments ? focusing on manufacturing, specialty materials and IT/software. Source new investment opportunities. Interact and build relationships with entrepreneurs / CEOs through calling and attending tradeshows. Assist with business and financial due diligence, as well as transaction structuring. Monitor trends in existing portfolio companies.Qualifications: 1 year of investment banking, corporate development, or relevant consulting experience. Top-tier academic background (technical degree not required). Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Proven research and analytical ability. General understanding of technology and the capital markets. Self directed individual with strong work ethic.
