Applications Manager

90123 Seeking a solid Applications Manager with experience managing primarily a packaged-based environment. You MUST have law firm or comparable professional services experience, including exposure to some of the following packages: Elite, Peoplesoft HR, Interwoven, InterAction, Concordance, Introspect, SharePoint. You must also have a solid background with SQL and at least 3 years of management experience. Great opportunity in a solid, growing firm! Responsibilities include: * Leading a team in developing and maintaining the firm?s business applications. * Analyzing business requirements, working closely with the business users to come up with appropriate technical solutions. * Managing application developers and support staff, creating a team environment and providing career growth and training. * Keeping abreast of emerging technological trends and utilizing this knowledge to investigate and evaluate possible new software tools. * Participating in the management decision-making and strategic planning process.
