Assistant Accounting Manager

Our client is a leading worldwide manufacturer and supplier of electronic components.  They desire to add an Assistant Accounting Manager to their corporate accounting staff in Myrtle Beach, SC.  For the right candidate, they offer a stable work environment along with a competitive salary and benefit package. As the Assistant Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for a range of corporate level accounting duties and projects.  You will assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closings and production of financial statements while maintaining compliance with all Sarbanes Oxley procedures and controls. You will also maintain, analyze and report the corporate office trial balance as well as assisting with daily activities, requests and duties of the corporate accounting office.  You will use and improve the reporting and analysis capability of the worldwide consolidation system, as well as assisting with the preparation and review of various reporting to management, the parent company and the SEC reporting group. To be considered for this highly visible position, you must have:  BS Degree in Business Administration with an Accounting major (CPA or MBA would be preferred) At least 8 years of accounting experience Managerial experience Corporate Consolidation experience Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal) Be able to maintain, analyze and report all corporate accounting activities Must have a strong understanding of US GAAP Be able to assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closings of financial statements  Management Recruiters of Woodstock, Inc., a high-level executive search and recruiting firm located in Woodstock, GA, was founded in 1995 and specializes in the staffing needs of manufacturing and distribution companies.
