Company Description Leading hedge fund Job Description Responsibilities for the Assistant Controller – Private Equity include: Handling all accounting work associated with closing several private equity funds on a quarterly basis Assisting the deal team with the purchase and sale of various private equity investments Assisting the deal team with the valuation of all private equity investments in the portfolio Producing various performance/return calculations for the private equity investments and funds Conducting various GAAP, tax and investor reporting Providing client service support Working closely with audit and tax teams at year-end Working closely with outside lawyers and accountants on various investment and fund structures Required Skills 4-10 years of public and/or private accounting experience Strong Microsoft Excel skills Desired Skills Private equity experience Company: Execu/Search Group Job Title: Assistant Controller - Private Equity Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Location: US-NY-New York City Salary/Wage: 80,000.00 - 120,000.00 USD /year Reference Id: J46426
