CareersUSA is seeking an attorney to join the in-house legal team of this progressive and fast-growing staffing company. Position will report to the Executive Vice President and General Counsel. 

Position Description: The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with work experience in intellectual property. Primary responsibility will be to provide legal direction and counsel for the Company's division that markets and sells software products and services.

Responsibilities and duties include: Overseeing and monitoring trademark applications, prosecution of potential infringements, copyright and patent applications. Drafting and negotiating non-competition and marketing agreements for trademarked software products and services. Structuring financial and license agreements, including software license agreements, non-disclosure agreements. Advising on and assuring compliance with pricing, advertising, marketing, and sales activity. Coordinating the legal process with other aspects of the Company's software marketing and sales division. Working closely with business analysts to meet the business needs of the customer/client while protecting the interests of the Company. Supporting and assisting general counsel and owners with legal processes related to contracts, negotiations, and new business ventures. 

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years general experience advising on Intellectual Property business, transactional law, and software technology relations including web-commerce. Broad knowledge and experience preparing software lease and licensing agreements, non-competition agreements, and marketing agreements.  Experience with trademark enforcement, investigating, and computer software litigation. Member of FL Bar Association.
