This person will manage the operations supply chain needs, consistently meeting or exceeding expectations for purchased goods, and services with respect to on-time delivery, quality and cost. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering Degree. Experience purchasing, negotiating or managing suppliers is required Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Experience within an Engineered heavy industry business To effectively organize and lead group discussions to support Supply Chain activities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills required Excellent teaming skills requiredSpecific Duties include but are not limited to: Support domestic and international strategic sourcing programs for generators, generator sub components and generator related services Develop purchasing specifications by analyzing complex technical data, design, prints and wide variety of other manufacturing requirements Constantly seek to investigate new partnerships and alliances with suppliers to maximize cost savings potential while minimizing delay in delivery of key commodities Continuously review the supply network, making recommendations to change suppliers as necessary to assure best quality products Maintain vendor records, literature and catalog files in order to keep abreast of current pricing trends and availability of materialCompensation: Base: Excellent pay - Commensurate with experience Benefits: Relocation Assistance, Dental, Life insurance, 401K, VacationLean, 5S, Six Sigma, Mining, Drilling, Engineering, Manager, Management, quality, Surface, Blast hole, Mineral, equipment, manufacturing, mobile, industrial, fabrication, Production, Supply, Qualified applicants should reply via email to bill@mriyorktown.com  for follow up and further information.
