Chief Estimator-High Profile Opportunity!

Title:  CONSTRUCTION CHIEF ESTIMATOR – High Profile Opportunity Position Type:  Full-Time, ExemptLocation:  Dallas, TX SUMMARY:  Strong, Well rounded Chief Estimator needed ASAP!  My client, one of the top general contractors in the area, has retained my firm to find them a top-notch, results oriented Chief Estimator.  The company is on a growth mode, and needs a driven, hard working individual to lead a team of estimators on several new projects that are coming up.  The right person will be an expert in both hard bid and negotiated projects.   RESPONSIBILITIES  · Lead a team of estimators and direct them from beginning stages through until the end. ·  Lead with final assembly of estimate for presentation to Owner·  Subcontractor solicitation during bidding process·  Review of the project construction schedule and assist in preparation of the General Conditions·  Aid field operations with change order pricing·  Review of the construction documents for value engineering·  Preparation and pricing of value engineering items·  Coordination with Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing estimators during the bidding of the project QUALIFICATIONS  ·  Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Engineering required·   10- 15 years of estimating experience required·  General knowledge of construction principles/processes·  General knowledge of negotiated bids, hard bids, GMP processes BUSINESS:  General Contracting, Construction Management, Program Management and Design/Build including self-perform work TYPICAL BUILDING PROJECT TYPES:  ·  Hospitals/Healthcare Facilities·  Schools & Universities·  Commercial Office Buildings INDIVIDUAL CONSTRUCTION COSTS/PROJECT SIZES  Individual projects range from $2 million to over $250 million How to Apply: If you fit the profile and requirements for this position, please contact me at Kas@agoodjob.com .   We have many other positions available nationwide if you are looking for this type of position in another location.  Management Recruiters of Sioux Falls works nationally and is recognized as the LEADER in recruiting and placing people in the Construction industry.
