91862 Commodities Trade Settlement, Contract or Contract to Hire, 30/hr.-$50/hr., $60k-$90k perm Our Boston client is looking for someone with Commodity Trading experience. Job Responsibilities:This position is responsible for the timely, accurate, and complete reconciliation of ISO and bilateral transaction settlement data. This process requires complex analysis and reconciliation of large amounts of data; resolves disputes arising during the settlement process. Qualifications: Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following: Required: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent military experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the merchant energy sector, with specific knowledge of ISO markets and operations systems, required.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. Strong organizational, problem resolution skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Must work and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within the company and function as a team player. Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as needed. Broad knowledge of the energy industry concepts, including two-settlement markets, proprietary trading, settlement activities, asset bidding, generation dispatch, and ISO policies and procedures. Extensive knowledge of power generation operations. Ability to understand complex market concepts and explain to a diverse audience. Ability to minimize risk through analyzing business process, improving or developing procedures and implementing change. Ability to network with industry peers. Formal project management training or experience. PMP designation a plus.
