Compliance Manager (Power)

Responsibilities:Responsible for the generation fleet's and/or power marketing groups adherence to NERC Reliability Standards, Market Rules, and any correlative protocols, guides, tariffs, or manuals.  Address special requests or events arising from generation’s or power marketing’s performance in each NERC region and/or each  ISO control area. Provide oversight and assurance services that daily or other periodic tasks or transactions performed are done so in a manner consistent with internal and external compliance requirements. Responsible for NERC Registrations, Self Certifications and internal operational audits. Represent company at key industry committees, forums, and workshops. Lead Corrective Action proceedings and ensure timely update to related policies, procedures and supporting documentation. Provide on-going subject matter expertise into compliance matters and initiate self-reporting procedures when necessary.  Qualifications:JD or Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering or a Business discipline is required as is at least five years power industry experience in generation or power marketing compliance.
