DIRECTOR OF POWER MARKETING (5295)

Director of Power Marketing (5295) Responsibilities:Analyze, develop and manage the company’s power market strategy. Identify market potential and counterparties. Establish project pricing and marketing strategies. Prepare and develop long-term power origination proposals, including complex mid & long-term contracts, tolling and ancillary service agreements. Negotiate and close complex structured power marketing agreements. Collect, manage and research power market data. Develop contact base and manage industry relationships. Manage power sales contracts. Interface with and support project development, finance and accounting personnel Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or other related discipline required as is significant experience in developing structured complex energy transactions and power contracts. Must be knowledgeable of ERCOT and/or PJM deregulated markets and have 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity. Must also have a track record of negotiating and closing physical and financial deals, strong negotiation skills and experience in power contract negotiations. Previous experience with a power project development company a strong plus. Must be able to travel throughout US and foreign countries as needed. Salary:  $100,000 – $140,000  (plus bonus) MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
