Director of Accounting

91947 Are you a demonstrated leader in the Accounting field looking to join an established International Financial Services firm? If so, our client is looking for a Director of Accounting to play a key role in their Corporate Accounting department. The Director will oversee and manage the more sophisticated accounting functions for various international entities and business units and ensure all functions are compliant with accounting standards, controls and procedures. The Director will also partner with various domestic and international accounting and finance teams and their leadership to ensure the timely and accurate consolidation of their financial information to the parent company. Qualifications: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting. CPA preferred. 7-10 years of applicable accounting experience. Thorough understanding of accounting principles and internal controls. Superior analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.
