Job Details Director of Diagnostics Products Clinical Trials renderImage('http://www.cybercoders.com/images/search.png', 84, 39); Specifications Location   Cerritos, CA; Anaheim, CA Salary   $100,000 - $130,000 Education   PhD Category   Science Experience Required   At least 2 Years Short Description   Director of Diagnostics Products Clinical Trials Required Skills   Director, Clinical Trials, Clinical Trials Outside of U.S., Diagnostic Products, Laboratory Experience Recruiter   Anna Thomas Date Updated   5/5/2008 Job Description Skills Required Director, Clinical Trials, Clinical Trials Outside of U.S., Diagnostic Products, Laboratory Experience Job Description Director of Diagnostics Products Clinical TrialsWhat you will be doing:- Primary responsibility is to manage the company's clinical trials function and to maintain strong relationships with relevant professional organizations and advisors. - selecting and managing clinical trial sites - Designing clinical trial protocols and write or oversee the writing and approval of the procedures and protocols to be executed by the selected clinical trial sites. - Managing the IRB approvals for clinical trials. - Developing and executing the training of the clinical trial sites. - Coordinating activities of external collaborator related to the completion of design input parameters, feasibility studies and clinical trials - Interpreting clinical trial study data - Acquiring appropriate samples and specimens for clinical trial purposes - Providing clinical trial and specimen requirements input to the Product portfolio management and Product Development processes - Leading the Focus input to BIMO audits. - The successful candidate will support all applicable regulations including but not limited to FDA, ISO, and CMD/CAS requirements.What you need:- 4 years in managing, directing and carrying out clinical trials is essential. - Experience in conducting trials outside of the US is strongly preferred. - PhD is strongly preferred - Minimum 10 years laboratory experience. - Knowledge of new product development processes and Regulatory requirements within the IVD industry is essential. - Background in Medical Technology is a big plus. -Technical product expertise with various diagnostic products and delivery platforms.
