Director of SEC Reporting and Policy

91248 Fortune 500 Company in Manhattan seeks a senior level Financial Reporting and Accounting Policy expert. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this candidate will be responsible for all external SEC filings (forms 10-K and 10-Q), advising on M&A transactions and technical accounting matters, and working closely with the Board and Audit Committee on all major accounting issues. This position will also manage a professional staff and be responsible for hiring and career development. Qualified candidates will possess: 10+ years of progressive SEC reporting experience. CPA is REQUIRED; preference given to candidates with ?Big 4? or large national/regional public accounting firm experience. Prior management experience.
