E-Commerce Manager

Progressive Colorado company has an immediate need for an experienced, strategic-minded, and creative eCommerce Manager.


The eCommerce Manager will manage and execute eCommerce strategic initiatives by working to create online marketing promotions and campaigns aimed at driving new customer traffic to their clients sites, providing a better customer experience, improving customer retention online, and maximizing overall profitability for new and existing orders via eCommerce initiatives.  This is a senior management position with unlimited career development opportunities. Some of the essential functions of this job include;

 Design and manage the internet marketing strategyManage the internet search engine budgetTo coordinate with IT and Marketing to support content updates, design and user friendly applications of multiple, high-volume, revenue generating websites.

 

Qualifications needed for this position;

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent related work experience. MBA or Master’s degree preferred.


Experience: 5 - 7 years in marketing with an emphasis in e-Commerce. The desired candidate must have high-volume eCommerce (shopping cart) management experience.


Knowledge: Customer acquisition and retention; search engines; email application software; online web applications.


Skills: Personal computers in an MS Windows environment; interpersonal and written communication; analysis; negotiation; data collection.


Abilities: Leadership; work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
