E-Commerce Marketing Manager The Position: eCommerce Marketing Manager Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the ideal candidate will be a highly creative, hands-on merchandising and promotions guru. The chief responsibility of this key person is developing and executing a merchandising and promotional plan designed to increase online sales of recruiting solutions to employers nationwide as part of our growing ecommerce business. Core responsibilities will include: Developing and refining a detailed merchandising plan for the site, including: creation of offers and their presentation that influence customer consideration and purchase Managing online promotions and product content including messaging, offers, product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing Implementing appropriate strategies to improve online user experience and effect changes to product placement to drive online sales Increasing conversion and average order size through online merchandising management of best sellers, product promotions, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities, etc. Identifying customer segments and defining programs and offers to maximize the potential of each segment and to encourage seamless from one to another Monitoring and analyzing customer behavior to maximize usability of site and sales results Ensuring the site supports the fulfillment process of direct enterprise customers Working with our in-house design and user interface teams to create a consistent look and feel in keeping with our image, brand and message across all products, communications and promotions Writing compelling copy for use in our ecommerce flow as well as supplemental communications, including bi-monthly newsletters and occasional targeted email campaigns, to our existing base of customers Maintaining awareness of current business trends through comparison-shopping, online analytics, and industry-specific materials from trade and media channels Qualifications Requirements: BA/BS degree Minimum of 5-7 years of experience driving online sales through optimal merchandising and successful promotions & email campaigns Demonstrated ability to develop compelling, results-driven programs and promotions Prior experience conducting website traffic analysis with one or more of the major web analytic programs Ability to analyze and interpret data and make appropriate decisions to maximize sales in a business-to-business merchandising environment Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, flexible, creative and collaborative environment Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and listening High energy and positive outlook on life and enthusiasm!
