Typical products include circuit breakers, terminal blocks, sensors, cord sets, connection systems, conductors, surge protection devices, control systems, interbus, interfaces, Ethernet, relays and PLC cabling.  Excellent benefits and relocation assistance.  Attractive bonus program.  Headquarters, Harrisburg, PA.Job Scope: Electric Utility Marketing Manager.  Prime function—Develop ways to increase product sales penetration into the Electric Utility Industry in North and South America.  Focus on product applications for the Electric Utility Industry power generation plants and substations/switchyard automation.  Job responsibilities include: · Identify potential product line applications specifically for the Electric Utility Industry. · Develop a program to increase market share and promote company products to the Electric Utility sector including customers such as OEM’s, system integrators and installers, manufacturer’s reps., consulting engineering companies and electric utilities themselves.. · Train the national network of distributors and field sales personnel how to increase product sales to the Electric Utility market sector. · Represent company in Electric Utility associations, trade shows and conferences. · Advise the company business units and sales force “Voice of the Customer” research results.  Qualifications: · Must have in depth experience working in the Electric Utility industry. · 4-year degree required, preferably engineering or business/marketing--technical orientation · A successful marketing leadership background with technical knowledge. · Able to communicate with company managers and persuade decision makers. · Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time, occasionally to Latin America. · Working knowledge of computer software programs.
