Electrical Engineer Opportunity!

This position provides engineering support to all phases of the manufacturing process and acts as a liaison between design engineering and production.

The essential job functions include:
·Design and implement assembly or fabrication processes for new products
·Initiate and implement Engineering changes for new and existing products
·Create and maintain manufacturing procedures for various complex processes
·Design and/or procure tooling and manufacturing aids
·Interface directly with design engineering to analyze new products and sub-systems for manufacturability.
·Provide technical assistance to shop floor production personnel on a daily basis
·Provide timely disposition of non-conforming hardware including creating rework procedures
·Create cost estimates for new products and revisions to existing products
·Initiate and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills/Experience:

·BSEE, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering
·Experience with harnessing, power supplies, circuit boards, electrical sub-systems
·Ability to meet Project milestones and requirements within budget
·Able to interpret electro-mechanical drawings and specifications
·Able to develop detailed assembly/fabrication procedures from assembly drawing.
·Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
·Experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean practices preferred
·Must possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills
·Must be able to multi-task and prioritize daily issues and longer term projects.

Desired Skills:

·Experience in Electrical analysis & de-bug of Electro/Mechanical systems
·Experience with Radiography Equipment manufacturing
·Experience with FDA GMP and ISO requirements
·Product Safety, EMC testing/ approval experience
·Working knowledge of SAP and MS Project
