Summary:Responsible for the technical investigative phases of the product development process focused on potential breakthrough technologies, product improvements, or cost reduction initiatives as they apply to the company's strategic direction. Background Required: Bachelors degree in Electrical or Wireless Engineering or other technical field Experience in practice of wireless engineering (circuits and systems, electronics, digital systems, electromagnetics, and communication systems) Demonstrated ability to apply in-depth knowledge of wireless engineering problems, with emphasis on RF electronics, digital signal processing, antenna design, and network design Experience in design and supervision of the construction of first prototypes of new design concepts Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or government regulations Technical knowledge of product design, failure analysis and problem solvingSpecific Duties include but are not limited to: Map out probable development paths and develop technical solutions to new concepts including factors of costs, timing, and risks Translating new concepts into production designs Develop design concepts or models, supervise prototype construction, and conduct performance testing to determine practical feasibility of concepts Develop test methods, coordinate the implementation of experiments, evaluate test results, and prepare written reports of research findings Coordinate contractual arrangements for developmental programs with outside suppliers or research organizations Represent the company in technical societies and keep the company advised of pertinent technological developmentsCompensation: Base: Excellent pay - Commensurate with experience Benefits: Relocation, Medical, Dental, 401K & other.Qualified applicants should reply via email to nicole@mriyorktown.com  for follow up and further information.
