Engineer Consultant EE, ME, or ChemE 1550g Visit our website at www.mriheadhunter.comSummary:  An engineer with a background in the electric or gas utility industry who understands the consulting side.  Performs studies in integrated resource planning-demand or supply side, conducts engineering-economic analyses, system operations planning and financial analysis and modeling.  1-2 reports---entry-level graduates.  Competitive compensation program including realistic and excellent bonus program.  Highly attractive benefit program and relocation package.Company Brief: A stable, ethical and prominent management consulting firm that dedicates its services to the electric and natural gas sector including utilities, financial institutions, law firms and governmental entities.  A continual and constant backlog of work that provides employee longevity.  First class office facility.  Location, Denver.Position Scope: Proficiency in at least three of the following specialty areas: · Integrated Resource Planning---distribution, transmission and generation; operational aspects of utilities; development of avoided costs. · Supply-side planning conducting engineering-economic analysis of utility markets and projects, modeling, production cost modeling, forecasting transmission planning, power supply negotiation review of agreements. · Contracts and litigation support.  Agreements, interconnections, joint ownerships, regulatory analysis. · Engineering economics including fuel forecasts, supply, market studies, contract evaluation. · Utility management audits, review of MIS, facility valuation, mergers. · System operations planning and evaluation. · Financial analysis and modeling. · Proposal preparation assistance, training, marketing strategy assistance and input for the preparation of articles for publication.Qualifications: · A BS or BA degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering.  MBA degree preferred but not required. · Professional registration useful, or ability and willingness to attain. · A minimum of 4 years applicable experience in the electric or gas utility industry. · Skilled computer strength with industry models, complex macro-based spreadsheets, Power Point, and statistical and forecasting software. · Ability to interact well in various business and social settings with all types of people in a mature and professional manner. · Strong quantitative and technical skills.Management Recruiters of Bonita Springs, Inc. proudly supports Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employment.  We are committed to workforce diversity.  M/F/D/V are encouraged to apply.
