Estimator Lead the next generationCincinnati OH - ASAP  Description: A successful General Construction Company is seeking an experienced ESTIMATOR to add expertise and join their Cincinnati OH operations!  If you are looking for an exciting opportunity with a company that takes pride in being a team, this could be the opportunity for YOU! Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate previous experience in project ESTIMATING large scale projects from concept to completion, experience with Waste Water and Water Treatment plants is essential.   Responsibilities:-  Establish work scopes for subcontractors-  Discuss and establish bid strategies, concerns and advantages-  Prepare summary sheets and bids sheets-  Monitor coverage and solicit new subcontractors-  Set goals for your area as they pertain to percentage of award, accuracy of take-offs, completeness of scopes, coverage, etc. -  Assist estimating department and Project Manager with contracting process when requested-  Must be able to lead an estimate and take full charge of hard bids-  Mentor and train other estimators Candidate Qualifications: -  B.S. degree in Construction or Engineering-  2+ years experience-  Experienced hard bid and lump sum estimating-  Experience with conceptual estimating-  Experience with design build process-  Excellent verbal and written communication skills-  Strong negotiating, motivating, and facilitation skills Salary:Starting at $70,000+ DOE Employees will profit from an excellent compensation package including a competitive base salary and bonus plan.
