Facility Maintenance Mechanic

Multi million dollar company in Santa Fe Springs, CA is looking for an experienced Facility Maintenance Mechanic. Great opportunity for someone who has a minimum of 4 years industrial/commercial experience as a Maintenance Mechanic. All applicants must possess the following qualifications.Proficient in the use of all hand tools and portable power tools. Understand basic mechanical concepts(power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics). Understand basic electrical concepts (AC/DC, voltage/current, industrial batteries). basic knowledge of building repair (sheet rock, spackle, painting, caulking). Understand sequence of operation of all conveyor and sorting systems (GOH, Empty Trolley, Flat Sorter, Hang Sorter, Belt and ZP conveyors). know function and location of all control stations for conveyer and sorting systems. Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot, make adjustments to and repair mechanical problems with sorters and conveyors (repair/replace sprockets, chains, pulleys and belts). Understand operation of and perform basic repairs to process equipment (Steam tunnels, bagging, bottom sealer, hand irons, tape dispensers, pressing tables, commercial and domestic washers and dryers). Perform basic electrical troubleshooting (check voltage, check and replace fuses). Read basic electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Proficient in the use of a digital multi meter. Ability to perform general preventative maintenance procedures. Understand function of basic pneumatic components (hose connections, oilers, regulators and solenoid valves). Ability to perform sewing machine and cutting machine preventative maintenance.

This position is a temp to hire with a chance of a pay increase once you roll to their payroll. Once you are become their employee you will receive a full benefit package.
