Company Description Fortune 500 company Job Description As the Fund Accounting Manager - Capital Recovery, you will: Create quarterly business plans for capital recovery fund Create projections Compare actual versus projected net income Coordinate between finance and accounting and deal teams on operational aspects of new and existing deals Act as a liaison between finance and accounting and individuals in the engagement of accounting firms used for the creation and audit of financial statements Assist portfolio administration team in creation of investor reports for non-fund deals Reconcile numbers contained in those reports Confirm that all loan portfolios are valued consistently with valuation policy methodologies Prepare a valuation report for each loan portfolio on at least a quarterly basis Notify the appropriate individuals of any significant events which may impact the valuation of a particular loan portfolio Ensure service provider has proper processes and controls pertaining to its production of reports Review asset business plans and revised projections Monitor asset performance using appropriate metrics Review service provider expenses and waterfall models for accuracy and reasonableness Ensure the timely and accurate completion of reports Analyze reports delivered by the service provder and the fund administrator Present fund performance to investors and senior management Required Skills 6-12 years of public or public/private with private equity or hedge fund experience (distressed debt group/non-performing loan group) Knowledge of domestic funds, financial reporting, financial statement preparation, GAAP, hedge fund accounting, investment partnerships, management reporting, month-end close, net asset value, offshore funds, and partnership accounting Company: Execu/Search Group Job Title: Fund Accounting Manager - Capital Recovery Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Location: US-NY-New York City Salary/Wage: 100,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD /year Reference Id: J49449
