Descriptio  Key leadership position to direct the sourcing functions that support  Engineering and Construction.  Reports to the Vice President of the Integrated Supply ChainAn integral member of the ISC leadership team that shapes organizational culture and challenges the status quo to drive change for continuous improvementLeads a team of 115 professionals responsible for sourcing, materials management and inventory operations that encompass over $1 billion annual spendStrong partner with Engineering and Construction and Power Generation senior management to establish long term sourcing strategies to support business objectivesStrategic relationships with senior level management of supplier organizations to ensure Total Cost of Ownership objectives are achievedCreates negotiation strategies and execution of contractsConduct business matters at the highest level of integrity in accordance with Code of Conduct, legal and environmental regulations Key responsibilitiesDirects, coaches and develops team to drive down the total cost of ownership and increase business unit productivityCreates and implements sourcing and negotiation strategies that result in timely execution of contract awardsForecasts material and labor needs to meet short and long term requirements to support regulated and unregulated businessesOversees the management of the supplier base, ensuring new sources of supply are continually developed and ongoing supplier performance is monitoredIncreases efficiency by continually improving process, driving standardization and minimizing excess or obsolete materialsDevelops and implements metrics and indicators to achieve identified goals and objectives, measure and monitor performance levelsPrepares budgets and manages operating costs and inventory to meet projectionsDevelops and implements sourcing policies and programsStays current on industry trends and best practices RequirementsUndergraduate degree – with a preference in mechanical or electrical engineering, Business or Supply Chain fields, MBA highly desirableStrong Interpersonal SkillsSix Sigma experienceLeadership Skills – proven track record in leading a teamStrong Commercial SkillsNegotiation Skills – previous experience requiredSourcing or sales experience of product lines is required FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION, Email resume in word format to gaylenelson@topcareers.com   MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
