It is often their Senior Management, CEOs, CFOs, or Vice Presidents who hire us to identify, recruit and hire mid-level to senior executive talent. In return, the company pays our firm approximately 35% of an executive’s first year salary for locating and assisting them in hiring these people. Kaye/Bassman International (KBIC) has been successfully helping organizations discover and hire executive talent for over twenty years and has grown to become one of the top retained executive search firms in America. The Dallas Business Journal recognizes KBIC as the #1 Executive Retained Search Firm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area as well as being the #1 "Best Place to Work" for the years 2004, 2005, and 2006 and Texas Monthly Magazine awarded Kaye/Bassman “The Best Company to Work for in Texas” for 2005. Few industries allow someone to succeed as significantly and rapidly as executive search. There aren’t many opportunities that allow you to make six figures without going to law or medical school. You need to be smart, but your GPA or background isn’t what will determine your success. It is your work ethic, ability to connect and relate to people and understand what motivates them. Your clients need people with a certain background, skill, etc. Your mission is to research that industry, identify top people who meet those requirements, establish relationships and reach out to people on behalf of your client. You goal is to present your client’s position and when there is a good match, convince an executive that your client’s opportunity will help them make more money, allow them more freedom or challenge, and meet their personal or professional goals. Many of the successful people who started in this role, had zero search experience prior to their first day at Kaye/Bassman, and have risen become Managing Partner and consistently make over six figures… but it takes hard work and it all begins now.
