Hedge Fund Investor Services Associate

89178 Boutique, industry leading Hedge Fund Services Company is seeking an Investor Services Associate or Manager to join their rapidly growing hedge fund administration practice in Boston. This practice group provides fund administration services to investors in domestic and offshore hedge fund clients. These services include processing of subscriptions and redemptions, performing anti-money laundering and due diligence checks on investors, investor reporting and handling investor communications and inquiries. At this level, you will manage a team, and communicate directly with clients, investors and their legal counsel. You'll be expected to take initiative to resolve problems for clients and team members. R equirements: Minimum of 2 years experience in hedge fund administration with primary focus on investor services. Strong understanding of investor reporting matters, anti-money laundering procedures and matters, management and performance fee calculations, and ERISA and investor qualification matters. Solid understanding of subscription documents with the ability to review draft documents and liaise with client's legal counsel to ensure documents are complete Knowledge of Advent Partner a plus. Understanding of accounting and financial reporting a plus. Team player with superior organizational skills and with the ability to work independently, problem solve, take initiative and strong communication skills.
